Dear freedy,

as you leave for melbourne, one scene that will stick with me will be the divine moment at the ji fan place. Though we had chances to interact and our paths crossed in the past, it has never been as divine as that moment. Really glad to find a fellow comrade/struggler-n-arm. Haha, really thank god for placing you in my life, someone whom i can learn from and mutually spur and encourage one another. Please don't smoke weed or what in melbourne(which i knw you won't) and stuff. Though a tinge of regret will always plague my heart for whatever little time we had to develop this, but i believe its the quality and not quantity that matters. Continue to impact many lives there, and keep in regular contact k chick-man. =) Really appreciate you lots baby.

it's going to be a looonnngggg way more to meet you face to face again. And by the time you're back, I guess I would be in army already.
But hey, it doesn't matter. I do hope to see you coming back to Singapore with more growth and spiritual stature. And I really want to see
you lead P&W with a guitar! You'll look good with a guitar! Seriously! :D

Anyway, just want to let you know that we'll take good care of your group. Don't worry. Just focus on your studies and your new
ministry when you get there. If your hope is to be a CL there, go and do it! Go there to make a difference. Whatever that Hope
Singapore has invested in you has surely not gone to waste. I really think that God is going to use you greatly when you are there.
I'm sure you will be a blessing to those fellow brothers and sisters across the ocean. Go there and be the best that God has called

Hey dude, it's funny to look back at how this friendship has started and how far it has gone. I think it is really one of the thing that God has decided to bless me with your friendship in this short life of mine. All that chats about politics, philanthropy, business, soccer and everything else that dumps Elise into foreign land (Haha!) - I really enjoyed each and every one of those conversations. You are always the one bringing me back down to earth while I'm always the one that challenge you to go outer space, but honestly... I often leave suppers energized, with more determination to dream and work out things, thinking through about all the things we discuss on the table and how to expand the business and all. These chats really refreshed me and I hope they do the same for you too! I think God has really great plans installed in your life, giving you such a well to do background and the ability to travel and experience so many cultures and now to study in Melbourne. You have spent at least 3 important stages in your life at 3 very different environments and I'm excited to see how God can use that to the Kingdom's advantage! I'm so excited for your life my friend! May the friendship continue to grow even stronger as we travel around the world and let's share with each other how God has used each of our life for his higher purpose!

I want to thank you for being a great blessing to my life. When i was just a spiritual infant, u choose to nurture me, grow me and invest in me. Times when i choose to rebel and go against you, you still choose to remain faithful. Though i know you have difficulty in expressing, i know you truly care. I know you do find it difficult in taking care of me because we are 2 very different people, but i appreciate that you still give your best. My heart is filled with gratitude for all you've done. You have definitely built up strongly on my foundation in God and thus, i'm able to be who i am now and still running this race.

I appreciate you for your realness in life and bringing up the 'eccentric-ness' of yours into the group. You have contributed greatly in providing constructive ideas (at times =D) and bringing out the dynamics of the team. Life will be so boring without you around (especially during BGT). I treasure this friendship with you because this friendship will last for eternal and i'm glad to have a brother like you around. I'm looking forward to our friday's match because there is just such a thrill in playing you compared to the others. haha. I enjoy those small chats with you as they can be really insightful and fun when comes to nonsense.

Since my early days in church, you have inspired me greatly on how a church should be. You have driven me to go for my goal in becoming a leader like you. There are many incidents when i feel like giving up, you will be there to help me sort things out and to reconcile me back with God. Through these years of your leadership, you have shown me about your perseverence and determination for your group especially in the last couple of years. You are really a Man of God and a man with character. I have seen you stretching yourself in the aspect of love. You still choose to be loving even they are unlovable, you have grown a great deal and you have made God proud in your willingness to invest His Kingdom. I'm just a mere person that is impacted by you, but i know that you have definitely great impact to many others out there. You make a difference!

Hey Freedy! Firstly, i'm kinda sad that you are going overseas because i will be missing a buddy that shares the same interests as me. Football, Left 4 Dead, movies, shopping and FOOD!!! haha. I will never forget the times when you're my shepherd. The patience and love you gave me was extraordinary. Time and time again i show you some stunt move but you never fail to trust in me and gave me chance to excel. I believe without your investment in me, i wouldn't be serving as a leader today.

its your big fat shepherd here! I just thought that you are a God-gift to me in my life. In the past few years of my life, there are many nice memories I have that have you in the picture, like the clueless trip we had in Thailand with Rayson, the time when you promised in front of Peter and Junhuang on how you will always armor bearer me, which that promise only lasted for less than a month before you begin your terror in my life. The shepherding we had together at the art gallery was classic, and remember all our movies-watching together?... including The Covenant which I have no idea why I spend money on watching it till today. You literary formed my identity when all my other names such as Elmo and Fei Mao. There were great fun and enjoyable moment during these years when I took care of you. Of course you know it well that there were many times when things were really hard-going for us. I guess those were the little opportunities that God deliberately drop in our lives to mould and shape us, and I am extremely glad that we weathered through these awkward moments as well. Much has been said during our last few shepherding and through the "report card" I've given you. Just want to thank you for being such a great sheep (overall) and the kind of trust and friendship we have built over the years based not on common interest, personality or background but on our common love for God and desire to lift His name high.

As you move over to Melbourne for the next 1 1/2 years, I just thought of the word "kairos" which means opportune time. It's gonna be your choice to make, through every decision you make over there and your consistency in Christ, to make your trip there a kairos moment, and to allow the transformation work of God to resume in you. Don't worry, I will set up spies there to monitor your every movement hur hur... So take care buddy! It's gonna be a rather short trip actually. So I'll see you soon in Singapore again! Or I'll go over to Australia to find you (or get a blonde girl for myself). Catch you soon!
